Byblos Bank and BASMA join forces to fight cancer
Byblos Bank Syria has teamed up with the BASMA, an association that supports children with cancer and their families. Under the partnership, Byblos will donate SYP 500 (USD 10.60) to BASMA with every Easy Save account opened. “One of the bank’s top priorities is the development of the community, together with the drive to always accompany its clients,” Byblos Bank Syria chief executive officer Nadim Ghantous said. The agreement was signed between the bank and the children’s cancer support group on February 18, in cooperation with the UN Global Compact supported by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Syria. Byblos recently launched the Easy Save Account which provides clients with services including salary, debit card and bills domiciliation, as well as normal banking services including withdrawals, deposits, transfers and check deposits. |
