Boosting Syria’s professional mindset Boosting the professional mindset among graduates was the aim of a presentation organised on February 8 by MTN Syria in cooperation with the Network of Syrian Scientists, Technologists and Innovators Abroad (NOSSTIA). Scientific Studies and Research Centre general manager Amr Armanazi launched the workshop with an overview of NOSSTIA and its objectives and activities in Syria. “NOSSTIA aims to invest in the knowledge and expertise of experts both in Syria and abroad, as well as building channels of communication between Syrian experts and scientists abroad,” Armanazi said. “It promotes the use of technology in governmental institutions and Syrian society in general.” The presentation included coaching from MTN on entering the job market. It also presented an overview of GSM networks and cellular services. “The presentation came in accordance with MTN efforts to create and enhance a professional mindset in students and fresh graduates by giving examples of the highly professional work environment in the company,” a statement from MTN said. “The presentation served to further the development process in Syria and help the students start a successful career.” |
