Aga Khan Development Network holds children’s ‘Fun Day’ Hundreds of children participated in an activity-based ‘Fun Day’ organised by the Aga Khan Development Network’s Institution for Cultural Services in Aleppo on May 9. The ‘Fun Day’ was held at the Shibani School in Aleppo’s Old City, bringing together local children who participated in games, competitions and activities such as drawing and dancing. “The event aimed to meet the potential needs of the local community as part of developing and improving the surrounding areas of Aleppo economically and socially by bringing a smile to children’s faces,” a press release said. The event was organised in cooperation with the Directorate of the Old City of Aleppo, with the participation of local volunteers, civil organisations and the Society of Education and Combating Illiteracy in Aleppo. |
