Audi Syria celebrates first female principal dealer in the Middle East
An Audi Syria employee has become the first female in the Middle East to graduate from the Audi Management Academy. Audi Syria Principal Dealer Aline Anastassiou was presented with a graduation certificate from Audi Middle East Dealer Development Manager Christian Soemmer at the company’s headquarters in Damascus on February 15. Anastassiou is the first woman in the region to graduate from the academy. Audi Syria Service Manager Essa Khouri was also presented with a graduation certificate at the same ceremony. “At Karkour Trading Company, we consider the human element to be one of the most important factors in the company’s success,” Anastassiou said. The Audi Management Academy was introduced to the Middle East in April 2009 in an effort to develop the professionalism at Audi dealerships and foster customer satisfaction in sales and after sales, as well as increase staff retention. Training covers business analysis and planning, process management and leadership skills. Participants also exchange best practice examples on a regional and international level. “The difference the academy programme has made at Karkour Trading Company is already visible, mainly with regards to strategic planning of the business and increased customer focus,” Soemmer said. “It is fantastic to see such motivation in our dealerships as everybody starts 2010.” |
